Tough Enough by Tania Hutley
My name is Samuel Bingham and I have just finished reading a book called
Tough Enough by Tania Hutley. This book is fiction. This book is easy reading
and is aged for 11 - 13. I found this book very life-like and some stuff in this book
can happen. I like the way the author has described the location this book is set in asI can clearly see in my mind what the location looks like. All the characters are clearly described as well. The main storyline: Matt is a 13 year old teenager and is going on holiday with his Mum to a small town which held a double murder about 3 weeks ago. Matt soon gets dared to go inside the murderers house and steal his walking stick. Matt soon finds out that this house is home toan old lady. Knowing this he thinks his friends have set him up to steal an old ladys walking stick. The old lady then has an accident and Matt has been made to look after Razor, the vicious dog. Matt was walking up to the house one night and opened the gate to feed Razor. Razor runs out into the forest and now Matt has to go look for him. Unknown to Matt he is slowly approaching the murderer. The murderer catches Matt and he wants answers. Will Matt scramble away or will he be fed to Razor, the hungry guard dog? By Samuel Bingham - 9R
Hi,
My name is Matthew van Grondelle. I have recently finished a book called 'OPEN' by Andre Agassi.
The book is an easy one to read and the words aren't too hard.
This book is an autobiography by a famous tennis player called Andre Agassi, which was recently published in 2009.
I recommend this book to teenagers that are into sport, preferably tennis players.
This book begins when Andre Agassi is a child and is constantly beaten by his father.
His father was mad on tennis and was wanting Andre to be the best player in history.
After Andre's efforts in his childhood life, he finally made it to the pro circut. Through out his life he has lost friend's, and a failed marriage. But will this stop him becoming the best tennis player in history?

Hi
My name is Kharn Lewis. I have recently read a book called ' 100 Great Leaders,That Shaped World History' By Brian Mooney.
This Book is very smooth, easy reading and is recommended for ages 13-60.
This book is about the forgotten or taken for granted leaders, revolutioners and industrialists such as Bill gates, Henry Ford, Martin Luther King Jr and many more.
This Book is a short biography and will twist your mind into the past going as far back as the year 364 AD it is interesting to find out about the historical icons.
There are many different short stories about many great leaders and I very highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested or wants to learn more about history, this is a great book for just that.

Erak's Ransom by John Flanagan (Rangers Apprentice)
My name is William Brown. I have just finished a book called Erak's Ransom by John Flanagan and it is apart of the long running Rangers Apprentice series.
The book is number 7 in the series but is set before numbers 5 and 6.
It is the last year in Will's apprenticeship, and Svengal, Eraks second in command informs him that Erak has been captured on a coastal raid in a town called Al Shabah, Which is in a country called Arrida.
They are given a Ransom of 80 thousand reels of silver, which needs to be brought by a royal authority using a seal (basically, a check).
King Duncan allows his daughter Princess Cassandra, to go on the trip.
The group is rounded out with Svengal, Gilan, Halt, Horace and Will.
Can the group travel across vast deserts and survive sandstorms?
The book itself is quite a challenging read and is quite long too. I recommend this book for ages 12-15yrs.
Overall I would give this book an 8.5/10

Stacey Jones Kiwi Warrior
Hi my name is Ben Anngow. I am reading Stcey Jones Kiwi Warrior. It is an autobiography about his life and his playing days in the Nrl and playing Rugby League as a kid. This book is for boys 13+ or people who like Rugby League. This book talks about how he sucedied in life to get to where he is now. I found out that he loves to put in heaps of effort into everything he does whether it is helping the kids out or playing rugby League and even things in everyday life. I think he is a good role model and I have enjoyed reading it. By reading this book you learn alot more about him because most people only know him by playing Rugby League for New Zealand . He is a family man and puts his family before rugby league. This is a good book so I highly recommend it. It can get a bit boaring at some stages of it but otherwise it is exciting and fun to read.
